June 2008 :Hubert Laws is currently working on a new CD which has limited any concert touring.  However resumtion of touring begins in September 6,2008 with an induction into the KTSU-FM JAZZ HALL OF FAME in Houstion Texas with Joe Sample & Kirk Whalum.
